Dine and Play Returns to Disney Cruise Line

Dine and Play Returns to Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line is renowned for creating magical experiences that cater to every member of the family, and one of their standout offerings, the “Dine and Play” program, is set to make a triumphant return starting February 1st. This beloved program allows children aged 3-10 to enjoy exciting activities while parents indulge in a leisurely dinner, ensuring everyone aboard can make the most of their time at sea.

What is Dine and Play?

The “Dine and Play” program is designed to enhance the dining experience for families on Disney Cruise Line by providing supervised activities for children during second dinner seatings. This allows parents to enjoy their meals with peace of mind, knowing their children are engaged in safe and enjoyable activities nearby.

How Does It Work?

  1. Age Group and Registration:
    • Dine and Play is available for children aged 3-10 who are registered at The Oceaneer Club/Lab, Disney Cruise Line’s dedicated spaces for children’s activities.
  2. Timing and Check-in:
    • The program is exclusively available during the second dinner seating. To participate, guests need to inform their dining room server upon arrival.
    • Between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., parents are responsible for bringing their child to the entrance of the dining room to meet the Youth Activities team for check-in.
    • Once checked in, trained Youth Activities Counselors escort the children to Disney’s Oceaneer Club/Lab, where they can enjoy themed activities and games.
  3. Phased Approach:
    • Disney Cruise Line is reintroducing Dine and Play in phases across its fleet:
      • February 1st: Disney Treasure and Disney Dream
      • February 2nd: Disney Fantasy and Disney Magic
      • February 3rd: Disney Wonder and Disney Wish

Why Guests Love It

  • Parental Peace of Mind: Parents can unwind and enjoy a relaxed dining experience knowing their children are under the care of trained professionals in a secure environment.
  • Engaging Activities: Children get to immerse themselves in Disney-themed activities, ensuring they have as much fun as their parents during dinner.
  • Flexibility: By offering Dine and Play during second dinner seatings, Disney Cruise Line accommodates families’ dining preferences while ensuring children have a blast.
